meter.ie is the customer access site for Local Authorities, Group Water Schemes and other suppliers who use the Temetra meter management service.

Temetra is an Irish company developing software, delivered over the web, for managing meters and meter readings. Started in 2002, we are based in Clonmel, and work with more than 20 local authorities and group water schemes.

Temetra is the most widely used meter management system for water in Ireland, but not every user of Temetra has activated the use of meter.ie for their customers.

For more details on how to see your meter readings online, contact your Local Authority using the contact information on your latest bill.

Temetra is also the meter management system for the Industrial Smart Gas Metering trial being conducted as part of the National Smart Meter Plan.

Privacy Policy

meter.ie is registered with the Data Protection Commissioner as a data processor. The meter data viewed on this site is owned by you, and your network operator, but not by meter.ie or Temetra. We collect and store site access information to detect and defend against unauthorized access to the data contained within. All meter.ie servers and data reside within the EU, and no personal information is shared with any other service providers.

We constantly review and enhance the technical, physical and managerial procedures and rules to protect your data from unauthorised access, accidental loss and/or destruction. All access to meter.ie is through industry standard secure sockets layer (SSL) technology.

Temetra will try to make the Site available but cannot guarantee that the Site will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error free and can accept no liability for its unavailability.
